This week marks a significant milestone at the King Salman International Complex for Maritime Industries and Services in Saudi Arabia. Forgesail is honored to support this strategic shipbuilding project by providing a complete heavy-duty rail system solution designed for one of the region’s largest heavy-duty transfer systems.
As part of the ongoing commissioning works, the project completed the initial testing of the 250-meter Transfer Bogie System, engineered to move vessels and modules weighing up to 23,470 tons in a single operation. The bogie successfully traversed the full track line with excellent performance — smooth travel, no impact noise, no vibration, and precise movement across all critical sections of the crane rail system.
During the test, the ARAMCO supervision team conducted strict dimensional inspections along the entire track alignment using precision feeler gauges. All tolerance requirements were met, confirming the accuracy, stability, and reliability of our engineering, manufacturing, and installation quality.
