Crossover Forging Assembly
Crossover Forging Assembly 1

Material & Construction
Primary Material: Forged from high-hardness, high-strength alloy steel (42CrMo). Casting is optional depending on specific applications. The material provides excellent mechanical properties, including compression, tensile, and wear resistance.

Mechanical Performance: Brinell hardness ranges from 405–447 HB, with ultimate tensile strength (UTS) between 1380–1520 MPa, ensuring robustness, durability, and reliability.

Surface Treatment: Hot-dip galvanized to enhance corrosion resistance, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments.

Precision Design
The crossover forging assembly is engineered to integrate the ends of rails from four directions into a single, stable unit. It is securely anchored to the concrete foundation using four high-strength bolts, custom-made soleplates, and rubber pads, effectively preventing displacement caused by vibration or external forces and ensuring reliable, long-term performance.

Efficient Operation
This crossover forging assembly enables multiple pieces of equipment, such as cranes, to operate smoothly and seamlessly across intersecting track lines without interference, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and safety. Its robust design ensures the stability and reliability of railway or crane track systems, particularly in areas where multiple tracks converge, making it ideal for maximizing space utilization in demanding industrial environments.

Compatible Models: Customizable to meet specific customer requirements and compatible with standard crane rail profiles, including QU70, QU80, QU100, QU120, A65, A100, A150, and more.

Application Scenarios: Used in industrial crane systems, ports and terminals, mining transport, shipyards, and railway maintenance. The system enables cranes, mine cars, and maintenance equipment to switch directions and cross tracks smoothly, supports multi-directional load handling in confined or complex environments, and improves operational efficiency, routing flexibility, and safety at track intersections.

定制件 渲染实物图场景图 Modular Transition Track System 2

In large ports, shipyards, and docks, concrete foundations for quay walls, finger piers, and ship-lift platforms are often poured independently, with expansion joints installed to accommodate thermal movement. When large vessels berth at finger piers, the sudden lateral impact can cause combined horizontal and vertical displacement between the quay wall and the pier or lift platform.

Heavy-duty rails spanning across these expansion joints must therefore withstand multi-directional movement and uneven settlement. Without proper structural adaptation, such differential movement can disrupt rail alignment, leading to bending, buckling, or even fracture—posing significant operational and safety risks.

To solve this long-standing problem, FORGESAIL developed the Modular Transition Track System (MTTS)—a globally unique solution engineered to absorb displacement along all three axes (X, Y, Z), accommodating:
• Vertical displacement: up to 25 mm
• Lateral displacement: up to 25 mm
• Longitudinal displacement: up to 35 mm

By effectively resolving complex mechanical stress at expansion joints, MTTS ensures that travelling equipment can pass over these sections safely and smoothly, without interruption or increased maintenance burden.

FORGESAIL has secured a patent for the MTTS specifically designed for dock expansion joints, demonstrating our commitment to delivering advanced, high-performance rail solutions for global infrastructure projects.

The MTTS has already been deployed in the Middle East, where extreme day-night temperature variations create demanding operating conditions for rail systems. These installations have validated the system’s practicality, reliability, and long-term durability. In Saudi Arabia, the MTTS has earned strong recognition from Aramco, supporting enhanced and safer operations for one of the world’s leading energy companies.

SRTS™ – Crane Rail Settlement Control System

(Adjustable Rail Support System for Crane Rail Settlement Mitigation)

The SRTS™ (Track Settlement Mitigation System) is an advanced crane rail settlement control system designed as an adjustable rail support solution for heavy-duty crane rail systems and industrial track infrastructure.

It is specifically engineered to address differential settlement in crane runway systems, providing a reliable solution for projects requiring long-term rail alignment stability and settlement mitigation.

Through its integrated height-adjustment and load-transfer mechanism, the system enables precise on-site correction of rail elevation without dismantling the track structure, making it an effective rail leveling system for crane runway applications.

This ensures continuous alignment, structural stability, and operational safety in environments where crane rail settlement and foundation deformation may occur over time.

Main Features
High Structural Strength

Engineered with high-performance materials to withstand heavy loads and dynamic rail stresses, ensuring long-term performance in crane rail systems and industrial rail applications.

Corrosion Protection

Utilizes advanced protective coatings or corrosion-resistant alloys to ensure durability in harsh environments such as ports, shipyards, and heavy industrial zones where rail fastening systems and crane runway systems are exposed to moisture and salt.

Environmental Resistance

Designed to prevent moisture ingress and environmental degradation, enhancing long-term reliability in rail settlement mitigation systems used in outdoor crane rail installations.

Extended Service Life

Optimized material selection and precision manufacturing significantly reduce maintenance requirements and lifecycle costs for crane rail support systems and track settlement control applications.

Precision Adjustability

Integrated modular adjustment components allow fine-tuning of rail elevation to compensate for subgrade settlement, ensuring continuous track alignment in rail alignment adjustment systems and crane rail leveling systems.
